ABOUT
Nightlife Boost is a growing community of creative organizations, groups and individuals curious about the potential of the nightlife scene to create better societies.
We focus on collecting and analyzing data that helps host workshops for young people and local creatives to co-design new project ideas, and test them out.
We work with a grassroot mindset, creating local networks of project-makers who want to contribute to a better nightlife scene. And we connect those groups across cities to explore more international topics, and act on them.
METHODS & FINDINGs
Since 2024, we’ve surveyed over 150 and interviewed more than 20 young people across Aarhus, Herning, and Holstebro.
This research, together with ongoing dialogue in our training programs, has helped us shape a more grounded understanding of what young people want from nightlife.
Our approach is rooted in this research as well as the idea of combining three cities—each with its own distinct cultural profile—into one shared learning environment. By hosting sessions both locally and online, participants gained hands-on experience with venues and cultural resources in each city, while also building meaningful connections across municipal boundaries.
